Mike Ejeagha, born in Enugu State, is a renowned Nigerian musician, folklorist and songwriter who has had a major influence on the development of Igbo music for over 60 years. He released his first song in 1960 when Nigeria gained independence.
His music is instructive as Ejeagha is a unique storyteller who uses his guitar style to accompany his proverbial words. His original songs have Igbo lyrics of his own composition.
