Famous Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, called Blord, has advised single people to wait until they are ready with their money and feelings before thinking about getting married.
In a recent episode of the Adult Gist podcast, B-Lord expressed concern about young people getting married too quickly because of pressure from friends and society, even when they are not financially ready.
He encouraged young people in Nigeria to take their time before getting married, saying that marriage is not something to show off as an accomplishment.
“Take your time before getting married. ” Take your time and choose a good partner for life. Don’t hurt women’s feelings because someday you will have a daughter, and someone might treat her the same way you treated others. “Treat women how you would like someone to treat your daughter. ” Ladies, treat men the way you want someone to treat your son. So, take your time before getting married. Getting married is not an accomplishment. No one should pressure you to get married. If you hurry into getting married, you might end up leaving just as quickly. “Go ahead and take your time. ” Age doesn’t matter. Just don’t marry someone you’ll regret later. “It’s very difficult to end a marriage, especially when there are kids involved,” he said.
